  • Customer states the check engine light is on at this time. had codes pulled and found; P0325. Double check computer for codes and pulled multiple trouble codes;U11CF lost vehicle longitudinal acceleration, U0002 High speed CAN bus Performance, P0324 Knock control system error, U110E Lost ambient temperature, P0325 knock sensor #1 circuit bank #1 or single sensor, U040D Invalid data received from TCM, U0415 Invalid data received from ABS control module , U0429 invalid data received from steering column control module, U110C lost fuel level. cleared all codes and observed data and found U0415 and P0324 and P0325 codes have returned. observed data stream on computer and found no voltage present at the knock sensor at this time. recommend replacement of the knock sensor and check continuity of the wire from the sensor to the computer. upon replacement of the knock sensor the check engine light has not come back on, however the code is showing up in the computer when the scan tool is hooked up, along with the U0415 ABS code. Spoke with the customer and informed him of the situation. upon replacement of the knock sensor, data can be observed at the knock sensor showing 12.12volts on cylinder #1 10.23 volts on cylinder #2 12.12volts on cylinder #3 and 6.34 volts on cylinder #4. data is now displaying information from the knock sensor. Important to note no data was visible with the old knock sensor. vehicles state has been improved however it is recommended the customer take the vehicle to dodge and have them complete additional diagnostics and computer scans. TCM, ABS, TCS, And Check engine light have come back on, No knock sensor codes, at this time. Recommend customer takes the vehicle to dodge and have the computer issues inspected and diagnosed. Battery is bad testing at 430 CCA and is rates for 730 CCA. Problem with auto stick.

  • Inspect front suspention. bushings, sway bar and tie rod end boots. inner tie rod end boots. check tire pressures and all fluids as well. Checked all components and found the vehicle is only in NEED of a front engine mount and lower control arms and serpentine belts, (Inner and Outer) at this time. recommend recheck all components at next service.

  • all power steering components need replacement.
  • Check for oil leaks and quote customer for repairs. Found the rack and pinion inner tie rod ends are bad and the rack needs to be replaced at this time. both front drive axles are in need of replacement at this time. engine valve cover gaskets, timing cover gasket, and oil pan gasket are leaking at this time and in need of replacement. recommend all around suspension at this time. customer authorized replacement of the oil pan gasket, timing cover gasket, and valve cover gaskets.Power steering pump, hoses and lines along with the rack and pinon should be replaced at this time. replaced all gaskets and topped off fluids. observed engine for leaks and checked computer for codes. found no codes present at this time and no leaks. customer is to call and return if any issues arise. Fuel Injector harness did not lock down properly at #7 and #1 cylinders. got connectors to lock in however replacement of all 8 connectors is recommended for this vehicle.

  • Customer supplied engine, There is no warranty on customer supplied parts. X_____________________________ remove old engine and replace it with customer supplied used engine. original engine in the car is seized and will not turn over making it difficult to separate the torque converter from the fly wheel. extra time is needed. broke down the original engine and found the #5 cylinder piston wrist pin is locking up the crank shaft at this time. punched out the wrist pin which broke the engine free allowing the removal of the torque converter. transferred necessary parts from the original engine to the used engine and installed the used engine, filled the engine with coolant, power steering fluid, conventional oil, and installed a new oil filter.
  • TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY – Remove and Replace – All Applicable Models
  • Time to remove oil pan from original engine, crack loose crank bearings to turn the engine over and remove the torque converter.

  • Customer states the check engine light is on, something to do with the furl rail pressure sensor. Checked computer for codes and pulled a P0135 HO2SH bank 2 sensor 1. see evidence of a massive pack rat infestation, began checking wiring harness found chewed wires on driver side of engine at harness for the o2 sensor. ran vehicle and cleared codes to see if code comes back, tried to use a/c to cool down while running the vehicle. found a/c inoperable at this time. plus a/c relay code P0645 a/c clutch relay control circuit is present, o2 sensor code is gone at this time. after checking a/c relay circuit code, cleared codes and checked codes again and found P0161 P0155 P 0141 P0135 P0443 P0446 P0193 P0010 P0020…….which is in order o2 sensor bank 2 sensor 2; heater circuit b2 sensor 1; heater circuit b1 s2; o2 heater circuit bank 1 sensor 1; evap emission vapor management fault; evap emission control system vent control; fuel rail pressure sensor high output; a/c clutch relay control circuit; Intake camshaft position actuator circuit open bank 1; intake camshaft position actuator circuit open bank 1. Checked fuses to establish a/c, found one fuse F47 Which controls all of these said systems explaining all codes found, reason for fuse popping is most likely due to the damage from the pack rat which we repaired. If codes come back customer is to return for further inspection and diagnostics of the wiring harness. (15ampp) that is bad at this time, replaced it and cleared codes and all codes are now gone and ac is now operational at this time. Checked KoEr and KoEo(key on engine running and key on engine off) DTC's and found that the P0193 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor is still triggering at this time, checked voltage reference and found it to be within specifications at 2.47 volts, recommend replacement of the sensor at this time and recheck codes and drive the vehicle. Contacted customer and was approved to replace the sensor. replaced sensor and drove the vehicle, no longer detecting the P0193 at this time.
