  • Customer states the check engine light is on, something to do with the furl rail pressure sensor. Checked computer for codes and pulled a P0135 HO2SH bank 2 sensor 1. see evidence of a massive pack rat infestation, began checking wiring harness found chewed wires on driver side of engine at harness for the o2 sensor. ran vehicle and cleared codes to see if code comes back, tried to use a/c to cool down while running the vehicle. found a/c inoperable at this time. plus a/c relay code P0645 a/c clutch relay control circuit is present, o2 sensor code is gone at this time. after checking a/c relay circuit code, cleared codes and checked codes again and found P0161 P0155 P 0141 P0135 P0443 P0446 P0193 P0010 P0020…….which is in order o2 sensor bank 2 sensor 2; heater circuit b2 sensor 1; heater circuit b1 s2; o2 heater circuit bank 1 sensor 1; evap emission vapor management fault; evap emission control system vent control; fuel rail pressure sensor high output; a/c clutch relay control circuit; Intake camshaft position actuator circuit open bank 1; intake camshaft position actuator circuit open bank 1. Checked fuses to establish a/c, found one fuse F47 Which controls all of these said systems explaining all codes found, reason for fuse popping is most likely due to the damage from the pack rat which we repaired. If codes come back customer is to return for further inspection and diagnostics of the wiring harness. (15ampp) that is bad at this time, replaced it and cleared codes and all codes are now gone and ac is now operational at this time. Checked KoEr and KoEo(key on engine running and key on engine off) DTC's and found that the P0193 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor is still triggering at this time, checked voltage reference and found it to be within specifications at 2.47 volts, recommend replacement of the sensor at this time and recheck codes and drive the vehicle. Contacted customer and was approved to replace the sensor. replaced sensor and drove the vehicle, no longer detecting the P0193 at this time.
